My photographic training began with the American photographer, Mary Ellen Mark, in 1976, on the film set of Apocalypse Now.
Mary Ellen's enthusiastic tutelage informed my photographic instincts. I am guided by this Mary Ellen quote "Don't be afraid to be who you are, and think what you think, when you're photographing."
